Die Walchebach Buam

The younger brothers of Sepp Holler, who performed along with Walter Berger (Tauern-x-Press) at the 2003 Ruidoso Oktoberfest, Günter and Daniel have been performing throughout Austria for several years.

Günter is 15 years old and plays the accordian. His brother Sepp is teaching him his award winning secrets, and he is showing some great talent. While he loves to play and perform, Günter eventually wants to become a cook.

Daniel is 14 years old and plays the guitar. His teachers are his brother Sepp and Walter Berger. Daniel is the singer in the band.

In addition to their musical talents, both Günter and Daniel have studied Schuhplattln and Volkstanzen for several years. Their youthful interests also include “Rankln" which is a combination of Sumo wrestling and Judo. During the winter they compete as ski racers. The boys are the local ski champions, and have won a lot of prizes on the slopes.

Joining them on their first trip to the United States will be their mother, Maria. She is always helping them to improve there musical skills, as Maria was known as a very good singer in her younger years. According to the boys (and her many fans), she makes the worlds best Apfelstrudel and Topfenstrudel.
